WSIA Sweepers
At WSIA, a station promotional announcement that also contains our legal ID
is called a Sweeper (and we have no idea why...).
Sweepers are an important part of any radio station's programming. They
are those wonderful little spots you will hear that announce the station ID
(ie "WSIA Staten Island"), promote the station and maybe try to get a laugh.
We pride ourselves on keeping our sweepers creative and professional. Here you can find
a bunch of our sweepers, both new and old, for you to check enjoy.
